MY Story
I’m 53, Fit, Active… A Single mom of 8
We have encountered MANY challenges to our health and peace in the last 25 years, but through pain, perseverance and Faith, we have gained ALL KINDS of interesting and useful information along the way- including extensive knowledge about Natural Healing. My kids, 10 to 24 yrs old, are also learning to preserve and restore their own health through Natural Means.
A strong Spiritual Foundation has helped us continue to seek healing for our Bodies, Souls and our Relationships and I am honored to have the chance to share some of that experience here in these pages.
WHY DOES THE FDa MAKE THINGS SO CONFUSING?
The FDA- Food & Drug Administration is the government agency in charge of “safeguarding” public health through the regulation and oversight of ALL PRODUCTS that affect human health in any way. Supposedly their mission is to disallow the sale or promotion of items that are harmful to health and allow & endorse the sale and promotion of items that are beneficial. However, they are also restricting & overseeing ALL INFORMATION about these items as well, because INFORMATION is where the sale starts- no INFORMATION on the benefits of a Product… no sale.
(Wait… can the sale of herbs and spices really compete or interfere with the $66 billion dollar PER MONTH industry of Pharmaceutical Drugs that the FDA oversees?)
Do I need Someone To Regulate My Information?
Isn’t this a free country? Can’t I read, study and evaluate whatever I want to? Well funny thing, our “First Amendment Rights” DO NOT APPLY TO ANYTHING THE FDA REGULATES- and ALL HEALTH INFORMATION falls under this banner. In fact, according to the FDA website …
